Red Scorpion
Red Scorpion
The Red Scorpion is made of Red Jasper and Black Onyx.
The middle stone is Yamatodamashii engraved black onyx to provide strength, stamina and power and promote the fighting Samurai spirit. Onyx is great for negating negative energy, enhancing self-control and encourages wise decision making.
Red Jasper is good for calming anxiety and helping to deal with stressful situations, giving inner peace and tranquility. It brings kindness and comfort and promotes healing through tough times.
By appearance, scorpions show defensiveness, control and protection. Similarly the Black Onyx helps protect and defend against negativity.
Scorpions live the majority of their life in isolation. In order to do this they exhibit great strength and inner peace, the same properties that are promoted by the Jasper and Black Onyx.
The thread colors used here is “red” on the inside and “metallic gold” on the outside.
The Japanese symbols/kanji says "Yamatodamashii" (大和魂) which is roughly translated to "The Samurai Spirit". It was a name given to Enson by the Japanese media and people for the way he fought. It evolved into a philosophy and way of life as it incorporates values of Integrity, Honor, Compassion and Loyalty. So it has become a way of living and values to aspire to and live through. There is much more depth to the philosophy than the simple description here, there is an interview which covers part of Enson’s perspective on Yamatodamashii here.
